About CUAET

The Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET) is a temporary program that has allowed over 200,000 Ukrainians to find safety in Canada since March 2022. Unlike refugee status, CUAET provides temporary work permits but no pathway to permanent residency.
